Those who know the broccoli, the most loved vegetable by us Neapolitans, can well imagine how good they are spaghetti with broccoli cream and sausage! I tasted them once in a restaurant here in Naples and I fell in love with them, so I decided to replicate the dish by letting my parents taste it too. As we wanted to prove, this first course passed the tasting test with flying colors among my family members who have also already repeated the recipe. After all, sausage and broccoli is an indissoluble combination so it was impossible to go wrong: P

How to make spaghetti with friarielli cream and sausage
Clean the broccoli, wash and drain them, look here if you don't know how.
Put them in a large pan, cover them with a lid and cook over low heat to let them stew.
Then lift them from the pan, then put the garlic, oil, chilli and oil and when the garlic is golden, add the broccoli.
Add salt and cook for about 10 minutes.
Once cooked, remove the garlic and chilli and blend them until you get a cream, gradually adding oil, Parmesan and a little cooking water from the pasta. You will need to get a smooth and homogeneous cream.
In another pan, cook the crumbled sausage.
After cooking the pasta in abundant salted water, drain it al dente.
Then put it in a pan with the broccoli cream and mix.
Add the sausage directly to the plate and serve your spaghetti.
