Remove the butter from the fridge and let it soften well. After the butter is quite soft, using a wooden spoon, rub it with 2 (normal) spoons of sugar until smooth, then add the egg and mix well.

When it has incorporated a little (anyway they remain lumpy with butter) we pour the milk and then 2-3 tablespoons of flour. Add the baking powder quenched with vinegar and then gradually flour again. Mix with a wooden spoon until it becomes a little harder, then use your hand.

After the dough is no longer sticky and you can work with it, we divide it into two parts (one larger and the other slightly smaller). Sprinkle the flour on a surface, take the larger part of the dough and spread it (about 0.5 cm). Grease the round tray with a little oil, take the dough on a rolling pin and put it in the shape, arranging it nicely (it should reach the entire bottom of the tray and the walls up; if it remains, cut it at the level of the tray and put it over the lower part) .

We now take care of the filling: we clean the apples (not totally, because you don't feel a little peel anyway) and we put them through the large grater. Add the sugar and cinnamon and mix well. Then take the composition with a spoon and put it in the form, over the dough. The last part of the composition will be wet, so you will have to take it by hand and squeeze it if necessary.

Now take the second part of the dough, spread it just like the first one and cut it lightly into 1 cm strips. You may or may not be a model, I preferred to do it and I put a picture with the tutorial. The dough left over from the excess strips on the edge I put on the edge of the pie and made shapes with a fork.

After you have finished with the look, decorate the pie. Separate the egg and grease with egg white the spaces on the pie where the apple is, and with yolk the strips of dough. Take the sugar by hand and sprinkle on top.

Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown on top. It is best to eat it after it cools because it is younger, but if you like it hot, I will not stop you.

You can enjoy it simply or with ice cream.
